How we do it
Clear expectations lead to a better everything. Conflict between our personal values and the values where we work creates enormous stress. Values/principles allow us to (mostly consciously) attract like minded people! Putting our values on paper, allows us to be of "one mind”, and better decision making. We need to teach them, talk about them, make them part of the hiring process and examine them in the reward systems. Ultimately we need to stop often and assess the gap between what we say and what we do!
-
We flourish when we are nurtured with love. Individuals flourish, families flourish, and communities flourish when blanketed in love. Love is universal and it is strongest when we are at our healthiest. It is from this platform that we see ourselves and the campus as a place of "healing".
-
We believe we are called "to change the world" (at least our little corner of it). Jesus said it best, life should be lived to it's fullest; and we think recreation is a good start.
-
Through elements, activities, and programming via a Universally Accessible & Inclusive ADA application. The Centers believes (and numerous studies continue to affirm), that recreation (i.e. exercise); has a "Healing" effect!
-
Programmatically & therapeutically applied programming through therapists, teachers, instructors, and trainers; a campus wide home away from home destination, guided by servant hearts.
Our Guiding Principles
-

Seek Joy
Joy is about the profound changes we are trying to make in the world, but to get there we must employ every ounce of the best part of ourselves every minute we can.
-

Partner with Community
Successful relationships are the backbone of health and success as a business. We base this on a commitment to each other’s success, mutual respect, and shared values, to that end, we celebrate group achievement and recognize individual success.
-

Serve with Passion
The key to our success. We want our guests to purpose their day(s) with us. Serving is creating a Spedazzling (equal parts special and dazzling) experience. It's a smile, a handshake; remembering a name, a favorite drink; an "it's on us today" thank you.
-

Honor God, Country, and Family
Everything we do is to honor God, Country, and Family. We are purposeful in partnering with programming and organizations that mimic these things as needed and necessary. We are a Great Place to Play, Purpose, Commune, Worship, and Eat. Our environment is clean, neat, and safe.
